In January 2012 we commence our Cape Art Experience workshops.

The Bushland Studio Tour offers an experience of painting and drawing in an outdoor environment.

We provide all art materials, demonstrations and support, so that at the end of the morning, you can take away your own personal artistic response to Cape Naturaliste. These unique excursions will run throughout January,with a start time of 7.30am! We'll conclude with a mini exhibition and a welcome morning coffee/tea back in our Dunsborough Studio.

We will be adding more  workshops throughout the year, that can be seen on the workshop page.

The Art of the Portrait

On November 15th 2008 John launched his 21 min. DVD entitled "The Art of the Portrait". John paints a portrait in three sittings and clearly describes the potential problems to be solved when painting a portrait from life in oils on canvas in the traditional manner.
